The sweet potato wedges

The sweet potato wedges are a good alternative to fries and an ideal fit for a "rustic" menu. Ideally, they are of course always steak - first choice is the homemade Paleo ketchup.

The good: the sweet potatoes have to not pre-cook even peel. Simply cut them into shape, cover with oil and sesame and finished. Easier way hardly. Only the crispy wedges are not. We did not not bother and our test eaters.

THE RECIPE: Sweet potato WEDGES
Serves 2 // Active: 5 Minutes // Total: 25 minutes
Ingredients

2 sweet potatoes
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 pinch (es) salt and pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Wash potatoes well.
Sweet potatoes in half and cut into wedges form.
In a bowl mix the wedges with sesame oil and sesame seeds. Add salt and pepper.
For 20 minutes put in the oven.

Our tip

Instead of sesame oil the recipe works well with olive oil. Then it does not taste quite as intensively for sesame.

We engage in cooking like on this recipe back when we need a simple side dish. Those things, however, are quite tasty as a snack.
